Pleat, Brass Mirror

Pleat is a small standing mirror that merges the practical and visual aspects of a reflective surface. The mirror is based on a clear concept, whereby an imaginative flat surface acquires its volume and stance through a minor intervention and stands on its own. The entire surface is reflective, with the image transitioning from distorted at the base to realistic at the top. The project is a continuation of Mirror (2013), a double-sided solid aluminium piece with a volume that enables it to stand on its own.
